At Brede Primary School, we’re always looking for ways to bring learning to life – and what better classroom than the seashore? That’s why we’re thrilled to take part in Beach School sessions at beautiful Rye Harbour, right on our Sussex coastline!
What Is Beach School?
Run by the amazing team at Beach School East Sussex, these sessions are just like Forest School – but with sand, sea, and salty air!
Beach School follows a child-led, outdoor learning approach where children:
- Explore and learn at their own pace
- Build confidence and resilience
- Boost their physical and mental wellbeing
- Develop a lifelong love for the natural world
From rockpooling and shelter-building to beach art and scavenger hunts, every session is an exciting adventure where learning is hands-on, messy, and meaningful!
