Vacancy: Individual Needs Assistant (Term-time only)

Position: Individual Needs Assistant

Location: Brede, East Sussex

Hours of work: 10 hours per week. 9.30 am – 11.30 am - Monday to Friday.

Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only. Fixed Term Contract.

Single Status 3. Spinal Point 7: £24,027.

(Salary pro rata. Weeks worked 39 plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which increases after 5 years of continuous service).

The Governors of Brede Primary School take the safety of our children very seriously. References will be taken up before the interview date; no open references will be accepted. The successful candidate will also be required to obtain an enhanced DBS clearance and complete a disqualification declaration before starting the position. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.

If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
