Our programme covers all aspects of the science national curriculum. The teaching may form part of a ‘Learning Journey’ or be in discrete lessons.
We aim for all our children to develop scientific knowledge and understanding. They can use this to help them understand the uses and implications of science, today and for the future. They learn through:
- exploring the three branches of science; biology, chemistry and physics
- scientific enquiries that help them answer questions about the world
- developing an understanding of the nature, processes and methods of science
