Home School Contact
We operate an open door policy. Staff are available on the playground at either end of the school day. If you would like a longer conversation with your child’s class teacher or a member or the senior leadership team, please contact the school office to arrange an appointment. The team in the school office are available throughout the school day and will happily answer any general questions you may have.
We encourage parents to sign up for the Parentmail App which we use to send:
- school updates and information
- any urgent messages
- the ‘Brede Bulletin’, our regular newsletter. Please read this to keep up to date.
If your child is being collected by someone other than yourselves and this is not known to the school, please inform the school office in advance.
For information on how to report your child’s absence from school, please see the report a absence link.
Parent consultation meetings
We offer three formal parent consultation meetings each year. The second allows parents to discuss their child’s progress in greater depth with their class teacher and to look at their child’s work. We write an annual report at the end of each academic year. Parents are welcome to book a consultation to discuss this report if they would like to do so.
Parent Governors
Parents are an important part of our governing body. If you are interested to finding out more information please contact the school office.
Sharing Your Views
We welcome parents to share their views with us during school events, open days and parental questionnaires and surveys. Parents are also welcome to contact the school at anytime via the school office either by telephone or email.
