Children enjoy their lunch in our school hall, where it’s warm, welcoming, and social. When the sun is shining, those with packed lunches can head outside to eat at our picnic benches — perfect for making the most of the fresh air!
🍲 Hot School Meals
We’re proud to serve delicious, hot meals prepared fresh on site each day by the Chartwells catering team. The menu changes termly and is shared via the school entrance display and sent home with your child — so you’ll always know what’s cooking!
- Water is freely available during lunch.
- Please remember, meals must be booked by 8:30am daily.
🧺 Packed Lunches
If your child prefers to bring their own lunch, we ask that you help us keep things nut-free to protect children with allergies. Please aim for a healthy, balanced lunch — a sandwich, fruit, and a snack is perfect! (Psst… we’ve found that little ones love seeing a fun note or sticker in their lunchbox too!)
💷 **Meal Costs & Free
- Reception, Year 1 & Year 2: All children in Key Stage 1 receive a free school meal as part of the Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme.
- Years 3 to 6: Paid meals are available daily. If you think your child might be eligible for free school meals, please speak to the school office — we’ll guide you through the process and provide a simple form.
