Headteachers’ Welcome

It is an absolute pleasure to welcome you to Brede Primary school!

We are Kate Elliott and Julie Knock, and together we have the privilege to be the co-Headteachers of this beautiful school.

Brede Primary is a small village school with a big sense of community. Within its walls, all of the staff work collaboratively to provide the best quality education for all pupils. We are determined to continue to raise standards and support learning through a wide variety of interactive and stimulating environments. This has created a school filled to the brim with enthusiastic children who cannot wait to share with you all that is good about Brede.

The school itself is in the picturesque village of Brede which nestles in the rolling 1066 countryside and is close to the ancient Cinque Ports town of Rye in East Sussex. The school maintains close ties with the church and local community and we provide a high-quality learning experience, making use of local facilities. We also have an active governing body and the strong support of parents and the local community.

Our school motto is ACHIEVEMENT FOR ALL: ARTISTIC - ATHLETIC - ACADEMIC. Please come for a visit to see our values for yourself.
