Welcome to Brede Primary school!
We are a small village school with a big sense of community, committed to providing the best quality education for all our pupils. Working in partnership with the governing body and parents, we strive for excellence in everything we do. We insist on the highest standards, inspiring every learner through high quality, interactive and stimulating contexts. The school is in the picturesque village of Brede, which nestles in the rolling 1066 countryside and is close to the ancient Cinque Ports town of Rye in East Sussex. We believe this, and our school setting provides many unique learning experiences. As a result, we have a school full of enthusiastic children and staff who cannot wait to share what makes Brede special.
Ofsted judged Brede Primary School securely good for the second time in February 2022. Teachers’ subject knowledge and high expectations were praised, alongside the pupil’s polite, respectful and courteous attitudes and enjoyment of school. However, we are not complacent and continue to work hard, build on these strengths, and reinforce the curriculum to be even more challenging and exciting.
